She got her first Bookbub promo! Goode Over Evil, the first book in the Crystal Creek Mystery Series, will be featured on Bookbub June 6-8, leading up to the release of The Goode Fight on June 9th. To celebrate the release of The Goode Fight, on June 9th she’s having a Book Launch-a-palooza on her Facebook author page, featuring multiple authors and giveaways throughout the day.
Also, Goode Over Evil recently double finaled in both the National Readers’ Choice Award and the GDRWA Booksellers’ Best Award, in Romantic Suspense and Best First Book.

A chapter is only as good as its volunteers and we want to shine a spotlight on a few chapter volunteers.
Kylie Bryant is the Author and Expert Q&A Chair and a long-time chapter volunteer.
Kylie Brant is an Amazon Charts and #1 Kindle bestseller of over forty romantic suspense and mystery/thriller novels. She has the distinction of selling the first book she ever wrote. She’s garnered numerous nominations and awards, including twice winning the overall Daphne du Maurier Award for excellence in mystery and suspense, and a Career Achievement Award from Romantic Times. Kylie is a three-time RITA nominee and has been nominated for five RT awards. She’s the mother of five, a former elementary special education teacher and an accomplished multi-tasker. Her books have been published in thirty-four countries and translated into eighteen languages.
Nancy Sartor has been the Lethal Ladies Chair since the summer of 2018.
Nancy Sartor is an award-winning Nashville born writer, a charter member and current president of Word Spinners Ink, a member of MWA, RWA, and SiNC, the current secretary of SEMWA, moderator of the Kiss of Death critique workshop, Lethal Ladies, a graduate of Donald Maass’s Breakout Novel Intensive Workshop, Maass’s workshop on micro tension and the Writer’s Police Academy. She won the Daphne Du Maurier Award of Excellence for Paranormal in 2018 for her Blessed Curse. She is an entertaining and interesting speaker, and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable panelist who enjoys public speaking. She lives in Rural Hill, Tennessee, just east of Nashville with her husband, classical composer and conductor, David Sartor and two Maine Coon cats. Nancy has three published novels: Bones Along the Hill, Christmas Across Time, and Blessed Curse. Her fourth novel, The Common, a thriller is in the editing phase. She is an herbalist, enjoys reading, gardening, knitting, and cooking.
Vicki Briner has been the Lethal Ladies Assistant Chair since July 2019.
Vicki Briner began her professional career as a reporter in South Florida, but has worked in education for the last 18 years. She currently lives and works in Denver metro and has been a high school librarian since 2012. She is pre-published, but is revising and editing her first finished romantic suspense novel.
Anna Taylor Sweringen recently became the COFFIN Moderator Recruiter.
Anna Taylor Sweringen, is a retired United Church of Christ and Presbyterian Church USA minister. KOD was the first chapter Anna joined when she became a member of RWA in 2003. She writes inspirational romance as Anna Taylor, women’s fiction and gothic romance as Anna M. Taylor and erotic romance as Michal Scott. She is also a member of four other RWA chapters.
Laurie Wood recently became the COFFIN Instructor Recruiter
Laurie Wood lives in Central Canada and writes inspirational romantic suspense with an edge of danger. She’s also a military wife who’s raised two wonderful special needs children to adulthood. They’ve lived all over Canada and are still on that journey. When she’s not writing she can be found at her spinning wheel, knitting, or hanging out with her dogs in the garden. Crystal Ramos has been the Technology Chair since the summer of 2019.
