Look who’s got Good News to share!
LoLo Paige…released a debut romantic suspense, action-adventure novel, ‘Alaska Spark’ two weeks ago. It’s a story about wildland firefighting that happens to coincide with the now active fire season out west. ‘Alaska Spark’ is Book One of the Blazing Hearts Wildfire Series and LoLo is happy to say the reviews are wonderful so far. The tagline is: Romance, fire, and sabotage are an explosive mix!
Come on KOD, let’s show some love and support for our fellow member.
Meet KOD’s Volunteers
A chapter is only as strong as its volunteers and we want to shine a spotlight on those who volunteer to moderate COFFIN workshops.
Leslie Scott is an award winning romance author, writing instructor, and avid lover of romantic suspense. She’s been a member of Kiss of Death since 2017. Though has never entered to win the coveted Daphne, her first volunteer position within the chapter, was as a category coordinator and judge for the contest. Ever since, she’s been a champion of the Mystery Suspense chapter and its authors.
Raimey Gallant joined KOD in 2018. She’s been shortlisted twice (including once for a Daphne!) and is on submission with her agent. She’s spending the pandemic gardening, making mediocre kombucha, and shouting conversations over the fence at her neighbor Harry. She’s pretty sure they’re besties now.
Jennifer Noseworthy is a former New Englander who currently lives in East Texas with her husband, two of her kids, and her memory-impaired mother. She writes under the name Jennifer Kayne as a contemporary romance novelist, who enjoys writing in the subgenre’s of dark, new adult, as well as, paranormal and reverse harem. When she isn’t writing, she can be found loving her menagerie of furbabies, reading romance novels, or binge-watching Netflix and Hulu.
Jennifer Perkins grew up in a small rural community, where quaint neighborhoods still remain hidden. This combination has led to an interesting mix of family, suspense, romance, and imagination. She is an active member of several RWA chapters and writing organizations. She’s been a Kiss of Death member of RWA since early 2019. Her adult children, while pursuing their own careers are, with her husband, her greatest cheerleaders. When Jennifer isn’t dreaming of interesting ways to be involved in her characters’ lives, she loves to spend time with family, reading, dabbling in photography, taking long walks on the beach, and meeting readers!
