After four days and as many service crews ranging from the vans to the big rigs with the cherry pickers, Comcast thinks they have solved most of Beth Treadway’s internet problems. She’s now the only person on the street experiencing 2 minute slowdowns, drops and outages. At least when she’s up, she’s really, really fast. Her house has been completely rewired from the street to the brand new dual band modem. They have a new tap off the amplifier for her part of the street. She’s calling it victory.

INTRUSION, an action-packed romantic thriller, was released in August and is the second book in her WAR series set in West Africa.

FAMILY REVELATIONS by Bess George placed 1st in the Romantic Suspense category of the Toronto Romance Writers 2015 The Catherine Contest. All category winners will now be forwarded to Kristen Nelson, who will be judging the final Golden Ticket round.

And Susan W. Dunn just heard that she made the finals of the Romantic Suspense category in Valley of the Sun’s Hot Prospects contest with BETRAYED. She’s really thrilled, especially as it’s an anniversary of sorts. She made the finals of the same contest in RS in 1992. It was one of the very few contests being offered at that time in RWA or elsewhere, and she went on to sell the story to HQ/Silhouette.

Please hold good thoughts for the ‘an editor request’ this time. 🙂

And that’s what we’ve got for the week. Have a good weekend and stay safe!
