Happy Earth Day! Please put your hands together for the following KOD-members, who have good news to share:

Joni Fisher’s book, SOUTH OF JUSTICE, will be released on May 15th, and Joni wants to thank all the Lethal Ladies (and Gentlemen) who helped bring out the best and vanquish the worst of this story. It is available for pre-order in trade paperback and e-book formats. For more information, please visit Joni’s website: www.jonimfisher.com

A wonderful review of Linda Lovely’s historical romantic suspense novel, LIES: SECRETS CAN KILL, was posted on the Indies Who Publish Everywhere Blog (https://everywhereindies.wordpress.com/2016/04/18/review-of-lies-secrets-can-kill-by-linda-lovely/) and Linda thought the blog might be of interest to other hybrid/indie authors, as well.

Here’s a quote from the review: “The setting is alive, the town real in every detail, from its sounds and smells to its culture and expectations. This complex sense of place is one of the book’s greatest strengths. The plot is paced relentlessly and tightly constructed, with a knock-out finale in a dramatic setting. It would make a good movie.

And Janet Halpin is thrilled to report her good news: she got The Call from an agent and, after an extensive conversation, signed on the dotted line! Even better, Janet came to the agent’s attention through one of the contests she finaled in (and ultimately won). One of her manuscripts is already on submission, so now she’s trying to catch her breath — while waiting for a different kind of call.

And that’s what we have for the week. Have a great weekend!

Celebrate Shakespeare’s Birthday on April 23rd.
