Gardening Essay Soon to Bloom
Finally, Vicki Batman can say something about an essay, “My Neighbor’s Gift,” scheduled for September/October issue of Texas Gardener magazine. Her grandmother could put a dead stick in the ground and it would grow. Vicki’s mom said she didn’t have grandmother’s gift. She believed she’d inherited her mother’s brown thumb gene. So, when she moved into her new house, she turned to her neighbor for help. This piece details how her neighbor helped.
