Hope those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday had a wonderful day. I managed to burn the sweet potatoes, but otherwise our meal was everything traditional the day should be. Even saw the terrific, uplifting movie about Mr. Rogers starring Tom Hanks. And your good news today is that in all that, we still have members who sent me their good news.

Productivity Up

Christa Sinclair
started out doing NaNoWriMo and she admits she was nowhere near the 50K needed to “win.” BUT she still considers herself a winner! She’s written every single day since November 1. She got to 30K, which is more than she says she’s written in nine months. She now has detailed notes for the second half of the book and has a brand new manuscript she’s excited about, and she’s pretty sure her editor will be excited about it too.

Four More and Coming

Carrie Nichols’s
next four entries in the Small-Town Sweethearts series about finding love and second chances in a small Vermont town were picked up by Carly Silver at Harlequin Special Edition in a four-book deal. Jill Marsal at Marsal Lyon Literary Agency was the agent.
