ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Before deciding on a second career as a paranormal romance and paranormal cozy mystery author, Amanda McMurrey retired from 24 years in federal law enforcement with the US Postal Inspection Service. Throughout her career, Inspector McMurrey worked with numerous local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies on all manner of crimes, including robberies, murders, bombs, drugs, and fraud. She coordinated her cases through the local, state, and federal judicial systems. She served arrest warrants, search warrants, and subpoenas, as well as testified in court and grand jury proceedings. In addition to routine regular investigations, she also received special training for responding to suspicious packages and powders, and also for conducting agency firearms training.
