Speaker Bio: Tee O’Fallon is the award-winning author of the K-9 Special Ops, Federal K-9, and NYPD Blue & Gold Series. Tee spent twenty-three years as a federal agent conducting complex, long- and short-term criminal investigations, including undercover operations, across many agencies at the federal level, and four years conducting multi-state investigations as a police investigator. It felt only natural to combine her hands-on experience in the field with her love of romantic suspense. Tee has lived in New York State most of her life with a five-year stop in Colorado. When not writing, Tee enjoys cooking, gardening, chocolate, lychee martinis, and all creatures canine.
Workshop: Create the Perfect Murder aka Keeping it Real
First Session: As authors, the last thing we want is a slew of reviews panning our written labor of love as “ridiculous,” “far-fetched,” or “absurdly unrealistic.” But for those who have never carried a badge in their pockets or aren’t married to someone who does, writing realistic crime scenes is a challenge. Like Hollywood, we want to entertain, but we also want to keep it real and avoid those scathing, heartbreaking reviews.
Brainstorm with an experienced law enforcement officer to create the perfect murder. Step by step, you— the audience—create the crime. Who is your victim? Who is the killer? How will he/she commit murder without leaving a trail of evidence behind? Discuss investigative tactics and evidentiary issues, all while keeping it real.
Terms and Conditions:
Cancellation policy: Cancellations will be accepted until June 1, 2024, subject to a cancellation fee of $50/registration. Cancellation requests received after June 1, 2024 will be considered on a case by case basis at a cancellation fee of 50% of total registration cost. No Refunds will be provided after June 15th without medical documentation and will be subject to a cancellation fee not to exceed 50% of registration paid. Registration includes meals/snacks provided by the event venue, and Kiss of Death cannot guarantee an allergen free experience, the menu was chosen to minimize common allergens.
If you choose to stay at the hotel: Kiss of Death Group Rate is $139/night +Taxes. Free parking for overnight guests, airport shuttle. Hotel reservation link provided after registration. You must book your own hotel reservations.
